About Our Judges

You’re the nominating committee and the judge. This is a crowdsourced awards and recognition program first and foremost. That means recruiters, talent acquisition professionals and HR practitioners and industry peers nominate and vote for our award winners.

In addition to our crowdsourced nominations and voting our panel of practitioner judges have deep experience in multiple HR and Recruiting disciplines to provide balance to our crowdsourced voting. We intend for our peer review to help inform better decision making. Our panel judges are shown below.

Tiffany Kuehl

She is currently the North America staffing leader for Honeywell’s Automation and Control Solutions business where she manages the recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) and contingent labor program engagements, participates in global staffing programs and initiatives and partners with business leaders to develop and execute staffing plans.

Tiffany is a member of SHRM and has been an active member with their Twin Cities chapter, Twin Cities Human Resources Association (TCHRA) since 2000. She currently serves as the VP of Finance and Administration on the TCHRA Board of Directors. Tiffany earned her PHR designation in 1999 and obtained her BS in Speech Communications from Mankato State University and an MA in Organizational Management and Human Resources from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN.

Marybeth Maino is Founder & Principal of Maino Recruitment Services, specializing in assisting Fortune 500 Company’s executive recruiting divisions in developing sourcing strategies, improving client management practices & building out full cycle recruiting processes.

During her 20+ years of corporate recruiting experience, Marybeth has helped firms such as Prudential, MassMutual, Russell Investments, Genworth Financial, and Capital One build and mature some of their most critical recruiting practices resulting in lower cost per hire and reducing time to fill.

Marybeth earned her BS in Human Resource Management from Bryant University.

In her spare time, Marybeth volunteers with several Autism charities, co­-chairing an annual walk for Autism Speaks. She also enjoys outdoor activities and “relaxing” at the beach.

Debbie has an extensive background in HR, publishing and the Internet. Previous to starting HR.com she owned The CEO Group, a Canadian and European entity that created job board software,talent management software, HTC Career Magazines and High Tech Career Fairs.

In August of 1998, The CEO Group was sold to Kaplan (now BrassRing.com), a fully owned subsidiary of the Washington Post Company. During her tenure she served as President of the Canadian and European operations, as well as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

Debbie has a degree in computer science and business administration, which she earned at the University of Guelph. She lives in King City, Ontario with her husband Doug and five kids. When she has spare time she can be found tasting and collecting Australian Shiraz´s and swooshing down the slopes with her family.

Mr. Lermusi is a well known public speaker and a Career and Talent industry commentator. He is often quoted in the leading business media worldwide, including Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Business Week, and Time Magazine. His articles and commentary are published regularly in online publications and business magazines. Mr. Lermusi was named one of the “100 Most Influential People in the Recruiting Industry” and his blog has been recognized as the best third party blog.

Mr. Lermusi earned a degree in Physics and Philosophy, and has a diploma in Economics from the University of Brussels and from the University of London. He lives in Mill Valley, California with his wife and two daughters.

Jason Buss started the crowdsourced Recruiting Awards in 2011 to highlight recruiting excellence and give recruiters a vehicle to recognize and celebrate their peers. At his day job, Jason is vice president of global talent management at Akraya, Inc., in Silicon Valley, where he provides overall leadership for recruiting and retention strategies, solutions, and services. Jason is also the editor and founder of TalentHQ.com.

In his last three roles Jason held senior leadership positions in talent management and acquisition for Ameriprise Financial, Russell Investment Group and Allianz Life. Jason is a frequent speaker on webinars and at recruiting conferences and events throughout the world on topics ranging from talent management ROI and innovation – to social recruiting and talent influence.

He has recruited for leading organizations including Allianz, Russell Investments, TD Bank and Ameriprise Financial. Amod also has extensive experience in building campus recruiting programs.

Amod is currently the Managing Partner of Recuriting GPS where he provides consultation services in workforce planning, vendor management and recruiting process redesign.
